One of the most impressive wineries is Querciabella, a\nplant-based biodynamic wine producer with several estates within the Chianti\nClassico region as well as in the Maremma Commune bordering the Tyrrhenian Sea.\nOwner, Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni recognised the importance of organic\nproduction as way back as 1988 but now the winery is entirely plant-based\nbiodynamic. It produces a range of red wines ranging from ITG to DOCG standard\nincluding Chianti Classico (Sangiovese) and a Super Tuscan produced from the\nclassic international varieties of Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not to be missed is a delicious white\nwine Bat\u00e0r made from Chardonnay and Pinot Blanco grape varieties grown in the\nmaritime estates of Maremma.
