The 18-hour, 45-minute route is operated on SIA\u2019s all-new Airbus A350-900ULR, configured in a two-class layout, with 67 business class seats and 94 premium economy class seats. Daily flights operate to Newark Liberty International Airport and are served by two A350-900ULR aircraft on the route. The&nbsp; aircraft&nbsp; offers&nbsp; customers&nbsp; a&nbsp; more&nbsp; comfortable&nbsp; travelling&nbsp; experience&nbsp; with&nbsp; features&nbsp; such&nbsp; as&nbsp; higher&nbsp; ceilings,&nbsp; larger&nbsp; windows,&nbsp; an&nbsp; extra&nbsp; wide&nbsp; body&nbsp; and&nbsp; lighting&nbsp; designed&nbsp; to&nbsp; reduce&nbsp; jetlag.&nbsp; Its&nbsp; carbon&nbsp; composite&nbsp; airframe&nbsp; also&nbsp; allows&nbsp; for&nbsp; improved&nbsp; air&nbsp; quality&nbsp; due&nbsp; to&nbsp; a&nbsp; more&nbsp; optimised&nbsp; cabin&nbsp; altitude&nbsp; and&nbsp; humidity&nbsp; levels. The airline industry is already in a period of great change as full service airlines introduce new or additional services to make them more competitive with low cost carriers.
