The shift to T1 will facilitate Scoot’s growth plans and bring an enhanced customer experience. Scoot projects double-digit annual growth over the next three years. At the same time, from a recent post-flight customer feedback survey conducted by Scoot, one key touchpoint that the airline wants to enhance is the check-in and boarding process. Changi Airport has been undertaking upgrading works to expand the passenger handling capacity of T1, with the project expected to be completed in 2019. A new and expanded, Meet and Greet Hall has been in place at arrival level since April 2018. The arrival level will be seamlessly integrated with Level 1 of Jewel Changi Airport when it opens in 2019. The Baggage Claim Hall is being expanded to incorporate more baggage belts. The refurbished and upgraded T1 Departure Hall features a central Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST) Zone where passengers can check in and drop off bags at self-service automated machines. With these upgrades and expansion works, T1 is ready to handle the increased scale of operations that Scoot’s projected growth will bring. Scoot customers can look forward to a more intuitive check-in flow, as well as a refreshed and more spacious terminal experience at T1. www.flyscoot.com

Scoot, the low-cost arm of the Singapore Airlines Group, will relocate operations from Terminal 2 (T2) to Terminal 1 (T1) of Singapore Changi Airport in the last quarter of 2019.…

[39
{"0":"post-2341","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-travel
["GET
