Landlocked Laos is a must-see destination and Scoot will soon put it in the reach of more travellers. Scoot’s thrice weekly flights depart Singapore at 9am on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, arrive into Luang Prabang at 11.10am, and then on to Vientiane by 1pm and depart Vientiane at 1.50pm to arrive back in Singapore at 6pm. Adventurers can escape the ordinary with Scoot and join an alms giving ceremony at dawn in Luang Prabang. Alternatively, take a hike, go caving or trekking, sail on a sunset cruise down the mighty Mekong, bathe in the extraordinary Kuang Si Falls, or visit an elephant sanctuary. Vientiane and Luang Prabang will boost Scoot’s proposition as a network carrier offering invigorating travel opportunities for those seeking authentic experiences off the beaten track. Scoot will use A320 aircraft on its service expected to commence on 1 April 2019. Then it will be the only airline offering direct Singapore-Laos flights.
