The NAS (No Address Society) dinner on 9th June, 2018 was a ‘Journey through the Culinary Arts with Chef Aaron Khor’. Known to many as the ‘Brekky Chef’, Khor prepared a designer dinner. The event was a platform for the emerging young talent to display his culinary prowess and to introduce the 21 year old to his industry peers.
Chef Khor started his cooking career just a few years back when he decided to cook breakfast for a select group in his parent’s kitchen. Samplings on the Fourteenth, located within the Berjaya University College of Hospitality, was the venue for the impressive evening. The décor at the venue, provided by NAS was coordinated to match the tropical Malaysian theme of Chef Khor’s food.
Chef Khor prepared a ten course Malaysian fusion meal from ingredients such as local spices and ginger flower to enhance his creations. The chef’s ambition is to travel more and learn about different cultures and cuisines but dreams of settling down in Kuala Lumpur to start his own outlet cooking food that he wants to cook. He believes in taking risks, making mistakes and having lots of fun doing it.
