The chic new Awei Metta business and leisure hotel recently opened beside the Gary Player-designed Pun Hlaing Golf Course, in Yangon Myanmar. The course has hosted the Asian Tour Myanmar Open for the past two years. Located in the leafy western suburbs, close to the city’s international airport, this modern 46-room resort features a restaurant specialising in fine French cuisine, a cigar divan, fitness centre, spa, tennis courts, and conference room for up to 200. The higher floors of the five-storey Awei Metta overlook the palm tree-lined fairways of the course.
