The 225-room Fairfield by Marriott Hotel is now welcoming guests in Busan, South Korea. It was the second Fairfield to open in South Korea in 2018 and joins another 950 Fairfield by Marriott properties worldwide. The brand is acknowledged for its value and simple, warm hospitality. South Korea’s second-largest city and main commercial port, is also a popular conference destination and home to the Korea Exchange. It has numerous seaside attractions and international festivals including the Busan International Rock Festival (August) and Busan International Film Festival (October). Its beautiful beaches make it a popular summer destination for domestic travellers. Designed to be smart and flexible, yet warm and comfortable, rooms feature flatscreen televisions, work areas with ergonomic desks and chairs, minibars and safes.

Wooden floors, natural wood and marble accents plus large windows, create a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. A restaurant offers buffet breakfasts of local and international specialties. Meanwhile, a fitness centre is available. Flexible workspaces are available in the lobby and there is meeting space to accommodate up to 30. The hotel is located in the heart of Haeundae, a popular beach destination with coastal boardwalks. Nearby attractions include Moontan Road, MIPO railroad trekking course, Busan Aquarium and The Bay 101 Yacht Club shopping, dining and entertainment complex. Shinsegae Centum City, the world’s largest department store, is located some 2km away and Haeundae Beach is close by. The hotel is located near Haeundae Subway Station and a 40-minute drive from Busan’s Gimhae International Airport.
