The Lexis Hotel Group recently won five awards at the 27th Edition of the World HRD Congress, hosted at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai in February 2019. The World HRD Congress comprising representatives from over 133 countries convened to discuss the latest advances and evolving trends in Human Resources Management and Development.
The highlight of the event was the awards programme held to recognise the achievements of those who have made a mark in their respective fields. The Business Leader of the Year Awards recognises leaders who have most effectively shaped their business success, delivered outstanding growth and contributed to the well-being of society.
The Lexis Hotel Group was awarded Most Preferred Resort of the Year while Mandy Chew Siok Cheng, the President of the Lexis Hotel Group was recognised as the Most Admired Hospitality Leader of the Year. Two other accolades for the group were the Best Corporate Strategy in Line with Business and Best Corporate Strategy Officer awarded to Mandy Chew. Every year, a woman who embodies the qualities of leadership in their industry is recognised.
This year, Mandy Chew received the Women Lifetime Achievement Award making her the first recipient from Malaysia to receive this accolade.
